Faculty members in the Transplantation Program conduct basic and clinical research studies aimed to better understand barriers of solid organ transplantation in order to improve on the clinical outcomes of this vital surgical intervention.  The program has particular interest in the broad scientific issues surrounding abdominal organ transplants.
